Audience

An author creates an idea platform to reach a primary domain audience, the people whose beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, work, and lives he or she most wishes to affect. The author also has a personal audience, typically someone of significant meaning. Some platforms can reach one or two secondary domain audiences; a very few can reach enough different domains to be considered a “general” audience.
